Hearing in conversation, simply better.

A small research project building a privacy-first mobile app that helps people get more out of their hearing aids in everyday conversations.

What we are working on

Many situations remain difficult for hearing aid users even after a careful fitting: noisy restaurants, lively group conversations, calls in busy places. ConversationFit explores how a privacy-respecting smartphone app can help people fine-tune their devices for the situations that matter most to them, without sending personal audio to the cloud.

The project runs over the funded development period and concludes with a working prototype, an open source code release and a public project report.

Open source

The complete source code of the prototype will be released under a permissive open source licence at the end of the funding period. A placeholder page is already reserved at /code/ and will later point to the public repository.
